Clowns fall through the world

Harley suddenly fell from a portal. She landed on her stomach her butt in the air. "Ohh? Where am I?" she looked around curiously.

Chloe had decided to leave the rest of the group behind while she went out and explored, she was passing through a forest when she heard a surprised yell. She hesitated before she headed towards the source, there lying outside some sort of portal with her butt sticking up in the air was a woman. Chloe frowned and hurried forward, "Looks like he keeps bringing people here, looks like you're stuck in this Shadow World now too huh?" She asked, she had started to call it that because well....it fit.

Harley looked up at the blond in front of her. "Shadow World?" Harley asked nervously.

Chloe coughed, "Well its a place where some guy calling himself Darkseid is trying to turn us all into his mindless slaves by tempting us. So the best way not to do that is by remembering each of the seven sins which are, lust, sloth, envy, gluttony, pride, greed and wrath." She said as she thought about it, "By keeping each sin in mind, the better prepared you'll be in case he tries to have someone sway you over." She said

Harley looked around nervously. She was big with the lust, greed, and envy. She wasn't sure this was a good place for her to be. Maybe if Mr. J was here she would feel better.

Joker had been doing the usual thing ordering his lackeys around, threatening them with jokes. They funnier they were, the quicker he wrote them down to use them on the Bat. He was walking with his head in a book as he scribbled notes, he looked up to see Harley and another blond talking. He turned around noticing that he entire hide out was gone. GONE.

Joker blinked looking down at his death jokes before looking back up, "Well isn't this just punny." he said in a drawl, preparing his ear drums for Harley's squeal.

Chloe whirled around when she heard that voice, it sounded familiar her eyes widened when she recognized him. He of course wouldn't know her thankfully but the fact that he was here wasn't a good sign. She only knew him from archives that she had pulled rather illegally but no would ever trace it back to her.

Harley whirled around at his voice. "MR. J!!!!!" Harley jumped up and on him wrapping her legs around his waist her arms around his neck and tucked her head into the side of his neck. "Oh Mr. J I was so scared. I'm so glad your here with me." She gave a soft sob of relief.

Joker would have frowned if he could, but his perpetual smile would not allow the action, "Oh Harls, you know Daddy was going to get ya'." He was tempted to roll his eyes, Harley would be of no use to him right now. His eyes laid on the blond woman, a sickeningly creepy smile appeared on the man's face, "So... miss would you like to know how I got these... scars?" He gestured to his face, moving a few steps forward near the woman. Maybe attempted murder would get Harley off of him. He wasn't Batman, he couldn't carry her forever.

Chloe grimaced as he neared her, "As fascinating as I'm sure the story you're about to tell me is, unless you want to be turned into a mindless slave then go ahead and kill me." She said in a matter of fact tone. She knew what his usual gig was and even if she was scared inwardly she wasn't about to show it to him.

"Oh yeah Mr. J we got to be careful." Harley pulled away slightly looking at him. "Apparently if we give in to any of the seven deadly sins we get turned into like mindless zombies or somethin'." Harley pouted at him then dropped to her feet and encircled his arm holing it like they were on a date. She smiled up at him and leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed happily.

"And I thought my jokes were bad. I gotta hand it to ya its inventive... why didn't I think of it, Harls?" he dismissed the other blond before asking, "Well, it... does regrettably seem like you have an idea as to why we're here. Care to tell?" He ditched his usual routine, just he just needed answers. Then maybe he'd tell her all about his scars... Then maybe give her matching ones. She needed to turn that frown... upside down!

Chloe barely kept a shudder back but then proceeded to tell him the details of the situation, "And that's why he's bringing in people." She said as she kept a wary eye on him, she didn't trust him not to try and kill her or maim her at the very least.

Harley pulled out a big round lolly pop from her pocket and began sucking on it looking at the two others curiously from her spot beside Joker. "So are you going to show us where we're going to be staying or what?" Harley cocked her head to the side sucking on her lolly cutely, before smiling.

"The lady has a point." He stated, ignoring Harley's antics for attention. He looked the woman over, making sure he had what she looked like memorized. When they were out of this damnable place he'd give her a smile...

One to die for.

Chloe nodded to Harley's question and led them towards the Manor. She wouldn't admit it but she didn't like the way how The Joker stared at her.
