Waking up to your savor

He took her hand and caressed her knucles. "Did you have these before or were they put into you?"

"They were put in me..I was still born..but after that..they cloned me." She said as she felt him caress her knuckles, it felt really nice.

He let his thumb caress her fingers. "And I suppose you were abused and tortured? Did you know your parents?"

"Horribly abused and tortured.." She said before she grabbed her hand, "Only my mother.." She said almost in a sad tone..The only thing that popped up in her head was when she had to kill her..

"I'm sorry."He sensed he was going to some thin ice. "Do you want me to stop asking questions? I don't want to make you re-live that."

Laura shook her head, "Keep asking.." She said, wanting him to know more about her.

He nodded. "What happened to your mother then?"

Laura closed her eyes and opened them to relax, "We tried to escape..but..the people who..made me..They..they put this scent on her..A scent that..if I smell..I go into a murderous rage..and kill whatever has the scent..And..when we were about to escape, I smelled the scent on her..and she told me to kill her..." She said as she felt the tears fall down her cheeks.

Adam listened to her story, in silence. He pulled her closer to his chest, rubbing her back comfortingly. "How did you get out of that?"

"I was able to kill the bastard..who was in charge of the whole operation of me.." She said as she laid her head on his chest. She then winced when she spread her legs a little to get comfortable, "Ow.."

He looked down at her. "Shhh... don't move so much." He said stroking her hair and kissing the top of her head.

Laura looked up a little a him, making him accidentally kiss her forehead. Her eyes closed as she suddenly blushed.

He looked at her and saw her blush. "Awwww you are so cute again." He said grinning.

Laura blushed more, before she went to look down again to hide it.

He smiled and lifted her chin up so she could look at him. "It's a compliment, no need to blush." He gave a soft kiss on her lips.

Laura froze when he lifted up her chin, blushing more as her eyes widened at his kiss. Her eyes stayed open, before she closed them and kissed him back.

He smiled into the kiss, gently sucking on her lower lip. He pulled away, looking into her eyes. "So what now?"

Laura made a little noise at him sucking on her lower lip. She looked at him as she tilted her head, "What do you mean..?" She asked.

"What should we do now? I don't want to make you cry again." He said teasingly.

Laura looked at him as she looked away, "I'll be crying as long as people keep hurting me..I've always cried..my entire life.." She said as she laid against his chest, wincing in pain, "God..I can't even lay down without hurting.."

He stroked her cheek. "I know, but laying down will hurt less." He hugged her closer.

Laura laid there as she wrapped her arms around him. Her eyes staring at the bed, "I don't know..how I will heal from this.."

He stroked her hair. "Eventually you will think about it less and less. Don't worry."

Laura closed her eyes, "Thank you..Adam..for helping me..I don't know why you are..but..thank you.."

He smiled. "You are welcome." He looked at her. "Do you think you are able to try to heal yourself, even slightly?"
