Is it positive or negative?

Bruce returned to the room after confronting Harvey and Chloe. He locked the door and slipped off his maks, letting out a small sigh. There wer too many things to worry about in this place...

He looked over at the bed to see Talia still asleep. He felt relieved to see she had been undisturbed. He walked over to the bed and laid down beside her, before kissing her forehead.

Talia felt the bed move, alerting her that Bruce had come back to bed. She opened on of her eyes a half way, "See you returned, 'love." She said in a tired voice, she had gotten up earlier and placed clothes on but found sleeping helped the nausea that came through earlier.

"'Morning, love." He said, kissing her shoulder. "Are you ready to take the test?" He asked, rubbing her stomach, gently.

Talia almost groaned at the thought of leaving the bed but she knew this was something they needed to know. Needed to plan for. Talia gave Bruce a soft smile at his gesture towards their possible baby, "Yes, beloved."

Bruce smiled softly, and helped her off the bed. He picked up the box that had been placed on the table. "I'm sure you'll want your privacy while you take it." He said, handing her the box.

"It says afterward to wait ten minutes. If it has two lines, it's positive, if it has one, it's negative." He stated, having read the box.

Talia stood up, reading the box. She nodded, it hadn't been her first home pregnancy test that she hadn't told Bruce about. She didn't bother him with those little fears if they weren't real. She gave Bruce a small peck on the cheek before moving into the bathroom.

Talia felt almost nervous. Why should she be? She kept thinking about everything as she took the test, would everything be suddenly different? She placed the test on the counter looking at the clock to get a time figure of when to check it again for the results. She washed her hands, needing something to pass the time. Barely pushed a minute. So Talia decided to go back to the main part of the bedroom.

Talia opened the door taking a few steps towards Bruce before stopping in front of him, "And so the waiting game begins, beloved."

"And so it does." He said, walking over to her. His hand caressed her cheek. "What ever happens, always know I'll be here for you." He said softly, before kissing her on the forehead.

"I know." She said, leaning her head on his chest after his adorable kiss. It was her favorite spot to be in at any moment. She could hear his heart beat, his chest slowly rise and fall, and if he spoke she could feel the vibrations of him speaking. Clearly the most perfect place to be. Specially if to kill time.

Bruce wrapped his arms around his wife, just holding her. Now and then, he would kiss her head and sway a little as the time passed on.

"When it comes time to check, can you look at it first?" Talia was into his chest, she didn't want to be the first one to look at it. She didn't want to think about it being negative, she realized how much she hoped it was positive. She didn't want to deal with the though of having another negative result.

Bruce looked down at her to make sure she was sure, before he nodded. "As you wish, Talia." He said, kissing her head one last time, before letting her go.

They both knew the three minutes was up. Bruce walked into the bathroom and looked at the test. He stared at it for a moment, before walking back into the room to Talia.

He handed her the test and when she looked down at it, he smiled softly.

"Congratulations."

Talia slowly let go as Bruce went to the bathroom to retrieve the test. He seemed all too keen on bottling up whatever he felt as he came back and handed her the test, she blinked at it almost feeling like her world revolved around this test.

"Congratulations." She heard Bruce say, but only stared at the two lines. The two lines.

"...I'm pregnant." She whispered out, almost like she couldn't believe it even though she had known. Or at least believed she had known.

He hugged her from behind and kissed her neck. "We're going to have more bats to our family." He said, smirking at his own joke.

"I almost expected you to say Robins, love. Since technically you're the only Bat." Talia said, leaning her head on his chest to look up at him.

"Hmm, you have a point... more birds then?" He said, kissing her head, before laying his head on hers.

"Robin number five?" Talia almost said with an amused voice. There was no way of getting around the vigilante part of both of their lives. One way or another their baby would do it. Whether on his/her own or just following in footsteps, it was bound to happen.

"Or Batgirl number 4?" He suggested, seeing as they had no way to tell if it was a boy or a girl in this stage.

"Why does Robin have to be gender exclusive, you've had one female Robin... granted she almost killed died five days after, but still a female none-the-less." Talia said before thinking, "Or should I just let him/her run the Demons?" There was a small wink in there, knowing Bruce would out right decline that.

"No." He said, not wanting their child to be a demon lord. "We'll let them choose the name." He decided.

"Them? Oh God what if it's twins." Talia said, almost paling at the thought.

Bruce turned her around to face him. "Relax, breathe." He said, trying to calm her down. "The only way it could be twins is if one of us has had twins on our side of the family. I don't have any twin relatives, do you?" He asked.

Talia took a breath, like Bruce told her to do. She was thankful for his level headed-ness in the situation. But she suddenly couldn't think straight, "I don't know, I never knew my mother nor any relatives." She didn't even know if she, herself, had siblings. Though it was a huge possibility with the fact her father was well over 600 years old.

"Well, let's not worry about it now until it gets closer in time to tell, all right?" He said, smiling softly at her. "You hungry?" He asked, leading her to the door.

Talia had a thought, but shoved it to the side, "Yeah, I think I'll go for some saltine crackers." She said unhappily, nausea was going to kill her if the lack of food didn't first.

"All right, you probably need to leave the room a for a little while." He said, opening the door.
