No more snow

Laura was still in the Medical Lab. She was still hurt, but not as badly as she was before. Though she looked a little bit bad, she had been crying almost every hour. Though she had fallen asleep during one of her emotional breakdowns. Her nose and mouth was covered by the covers.

Adam peeked into the medical lab. He felt ashamed of his outburst to her earlier, but felt it was justified. He loved her and didn't want to see her in pain. "Hi..." He said softly from the doorway.

Laura heard a familiar voice say hi to her, making her wake up. She looked up from where she was laying, seeing Adam right in the doorway, "Hi.."

He walked closer, stopping to the foot of her bed, placing his hands ont the board at the end of it. "How are you?"

"Better...But, I could be way better." She said as she looked away from him. His words kept playing in her head, and she was still squeamish with being next to him. Her eyes closed as she started to fight tears.

He looked at her with worry, "What's wrong?" He took few steps closer.

"I'm sorry..that I said no to the healing...I just...I couldn't handle it then..I felt so..disgusting and weak...and..I felt like I just wanted to die.." She said softly, feeling the tears fall from her eyes as she opened the,

He looked down at his hands. "I know.... I am afraid to touch you.... not because I don't want to. Because I feel disgusted of myself."

Laura looked down, "I'm afraid to touch you..I'm disgusting..I..I had to give that man..a.." She looked away and just broke down.

His head shot up. "No! You are not disgusting. I know what you did was because of me." He took her hand, hesitating slightly before touching it. "I love you."

Laura looked up at him when he touched her hand, the tears welling up when she heard those three words. She quickly got up and hugged him, she was hesitant at first, but she finally hugged him. She cried into his chest, "I didn't like being touched like that...I don't want us to be touched like that again.."

He froze in surprise when she hugged him, but then wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly, burrying his face into her hair. "I don't want that either," He didn't want to let her go.

Laura felt happy that he held her back the way he did. She gripped the back of his shirt gently, telling him she didn't want to part with him. She buried her face into his shoulder, "I only want your touch..only yours.."

Adam felt happy to hear those words. He felt happy tears dwell into his eyes. "Right back at you." He hugged her tighter.

Laura smiled as he hugged her tighter. She pulled back a little to look at him, smiling softly.

He smiled down softly at her and sat down next to her. "Should I sing for you to make you heal faster?"

"Yes..please..I've missed your voice.." She said before she looked down, then back up at him, "It's my favorite thing about you.." She said as she blushed.

He got on the bed, laying down next to her, laying her head on his chest. "Oh, well what is your second favourtie then?" He asked playfully, starting to sing to her, stroking her hair softly.

"Your personality.." She said as she smiled, before resting on him as she smiled, loving the sound of his voice.

He just smiled as he kept singing, hugging her closer.

Laura smiled in his arms, not knowing her wounds were healing at her being really relaxed. And Adam would see the cuts on her arms disappear. She snuggled into his chest.

He smiled and stopped singign after a while. "I'm glad those healed." He kissed her forehead.

Laura closed her eyes when he kissed her forehead. She looked up at him slowly, "I...I love you.." She said as she stared into his eyes.

He smiled softly. "I love you too." He pulled her face closer to a soft kiss.

Laura's eyes widened when she felt him kiss her, before her eyes softened as they closed right away. She kissed him back as she felt more relaxed with kissing him..Something she thought he would never do again.
